Carlisle Bay

Carlisle Bay

Carlisle Bay is a luxury resort in Antigua that is synonymous with elegance, first-class service and picture-perfect scenery. Superb accommodation, fine food and a convivial Caribbean welcome await you at this classy resort.

Stylish suites

Accommodation is in 82 contemporary suites, all of which boast stunning ocean views. The resort is split into family and child-free areas, and some of the suites can sleep up to six guests, so you shouldn’t struggle to find the perfect place to stay.

The suites are decorated in a traditional Caribbean style, with plantation shutters and floor-to-ceiling windows. The rooms also feature a variety of modern amenities, including complimentary Wi-Fi, air conditioning, HDTV, terrace daybeds, espresso machines, fully stocked mini-bars, daily fresh fruit and bottled water. Many rooms also lead directly to the sea.

Get a taste of the Caribbean

Carlisle Bay has four superb restaurants which serve food made from fresh, locally-sourced produce. Indigo on the Beach serves seafood, salads and pasta in an open-sided room, while more formal evening meals can be taken in East, which specialises in Balinese, Japanese and Indonesian cuisines.

If you’re fond of Italian food, opt for Ottimo! with its classic dishes, including pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven. The Jetty Grill, meanwhile, is an adults-only beachside restaurant serving grilled meats and fresh seafood accompanied by carafe wines.

There are four bars serving a range of local beers, rum and cocktails, and the Coconut Grove bar offers a complimentary afternoon tea for guests.

Activites

When you’re not relaxing on the beach or snoozing in a garden hammock, Carlisle Bay offers a wide range of activities, including tennis, yoga, a fitness centre, and watersports. There’s also an on-site library and a screening room showing movies. For families and couples who appreciate luxury accommodation, gourmet food, and a beautiful ocean setting, Carlisle Bay is the perfect choice.
