Stay at The Fleming Villa at GoldenEye and sit at the very desk where Ian Fleming penned the James Bond novels and listen to the whispers of the past, the romantic stories of writers, spies and seducers.
Or you could simply sit back and enjoy the unrivaled privacy of this supremely exclusive destination. As well as your own pool, you’ll have your own beach, gardens and dedicated staff. You can stroll over to GoldenEye for a massage in the open air treatment rooms at FieldSpa, for sundowners, shaken not stirred of course, in the conviviality of the Bizot Bar and dinner in the sexy tree house aerie of the newly designed Gazebo, but you’ll know that the perfect peace and privacy of the Fleming Villa awaits your return.
The Villa sleeps up to ten people in 5 individual bedrooms. The 007 Bedroom is naturally the master suite and has all the glamour to make James Bond himself feel entirely at home, including a large bamboo four poster king-size bed and large tropical garden patio with signature GoldenEye claw foot tub and two Royal Hut hand-dyed batik robes.
A spacious living and dining area is enhanced by jalousie-style windows that open the entire room to garden and sea. A large media room with 64-inch television, fully stocked wet bar and state-of-the-art sound system stocked with music produced by Chris Blackwell’s Island Records and Palm Pictures ensure that even ‘M’ would have enough technology to play with. Lunch or dinner is served under the famous almond trees planted by Ian Fleming and you can also enjoy a Fleming Beach BBQ and jerk feast.
Oracabessa Bay means ‘golden head’ and by chance when Fleming first visited he had been working on a naval operation called GoldenEye. He bought the property, built his dream house and dreamed up an iconic hero here. For so many reason, it’s now a dream destination.
