Amangiri
Amangiri occupies a prime position in Canyon Point, to the south of Utah state, in close proximity to Lake Powell, National Parks - and the biggest Native American reservation in the entire country. This luxury property offers a unique chance to connect with both natural and human history, as well as access to some of the finest walking and hiking trails, and climbing hills, in the world.
Exceptional suites
The range of suites at Amangiri are quite exceptional - in terms of both aesthetics and facilities. Walls are crafted from concrete and floors from white stone, while the inclusion of blackened metal and natural woods add extra character and warmth. All suites have furnished private outdoor living areas with feature fireplaces, while some even have a roof terrace, their own pool - or both. All boast fabulous vistas over the desert, tablelands, dunes or mountain ranges.
Desert dining
Amangiri’s restaurant features an open kitchen, so you can watch expert chefs prepare your food while you wait. Dishes are inspired by the much-lauded fare of Southwestern USA and feature locally produced ingredients wherever possible. Full-length windows afford magnificent views over the desert, whose colours are constantly changing - especially at sunset. Enjoy an Amangiri Sunrise smoothie in the morning, then mole blackened fish tacos, cowboy curry or wood fired pizza for lunch. While watching that legendary sunset, dine on native shrimp and grits, followed by black oak roasted chicken with citrus polenta cake to finish.
A native desert spa
The spa at Amangiri offers a spectacular setting quite like no other. Dip into the sauna, steam rooms and cold plunge pool, while enjoying sweeping views across the desert. Or enjoy a pampering facial, body wrap or scrub or massage, using techniques that are inspired by age-old native American healing rituals. If you want to get active, there’s a fully-equipped fitness gym, as well as a dedicated yoga pavilion.
