Banyan Tree Tamouda Bay

Banyan Tree Tamouda Bay

Exotic romance and Moroccan charm with a modern twist define this all-pool villa resort, sheltered by dramatic mountains and looking out over Morocco’s golden sands, close to the fabled city of Tangier.

Restaurants offer contrasting dining experiences. Award-winning Saffron has evolved from a simple curry house to the signature Thai restaurant of Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts. The design and dishes fuse contemporary with classic and authentic. Tingitana is all about show cooking, spiced stews and local tagines. There’s also a chic cocktail lounge and tapas bar on the beach

Gastronomic delights await you at every turn in this luxury resort. From the gourmet cuisine of L’Acajou, which is perched on the oceanfront and is Sandy Lane’s signature restaurant, to the informal dining experience offered in Bajan Blue, which serves up a mouth-watering variety of Caribbean, European and Asian influenced dishes, there is something to suit all tastes. In addition to four superb restaurants, there are a host of elegant bars and lounges offering refreshing drinks day and night.

Banyan Tree Tamouda Bay pioneered the tropical garden spa concept in Morocco and the focus is on traditional Asian therapies designed for spiritual, mental and physical harmony. The spa pavilions evoke the timeless romance of Morocco and the stunning natural beauty of the country. Signature treatments are particularly well-loved, including the Royal Banyan which features a warm herbal pouch dipped in Sesame Oil, to improve blood circulation and ease tense muscle. This is an exotic, intimate sanctuary or serenity and sensuality.
