Baraza Resort and Spa

Baraza Resort and Spa

Unparalleled standards of luxury and a beautiful setting in Bwejuu-Paje Beach await you at Bazara Resort and Spa. Voted one of Conde Nast's 60 best new hotels in the world, and selected as one of the top 25 hotels in the world at the TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Awards, Baraza is a special place indeed.

Sumptuous design

Luxuriate in the unique design of your private villa, where exotic and delicately hand carved wall detailing, gorgeous antiques and Arabic brass lanterns combine with fine linens, beautiful fabrics and generous bathrooms to create an impressively indulgent space. Outside, spacious terraces and private plunge pools invite you to enjoy the island's glorious sunshine.

Deliciously exotic cuisine

Start the day with an open-air breakfast at the Livingstone Terrace. Move on to The Ocean Restaurant for delightful buffet-style lunches and ritzy afternoon tea. Sultry evenings begin with cocktails at Dhahabu Bar followed by a lavish candlelit dinner in the opulent Sultan’s Dining Room where the cuisine inspired by Indian, Persian, Asian and Arabic flavours showcases the fragrant spices so typical of this island.

An oasis of calm

New experiences for all the family abound at Baraza. You might go kitesurfing, sailing, paddle boarding or snorkelling around the coral reef that faces the resort's beach. Nearby, The Rising Sun Dive Centre, a PADI 5* Gold Palm and National Geographic Dive Centre, caters for all, from those seeking an entirely new experience to those with advanced diving skills. For a more sedate, soothing experience, the Frangipani Spa is a tranquil sanctuary complete with outdoor relaxation area, Sultan’s bath and lap pool with underwater music, offering stress relieving therapies and treatments from Thailand, Bali and India, all in a candlelit, spice scented oasis of calm.

Choose the incomparable Baraza Resort and Spa for a magical experience for the whole family.
