Carmel Valley Ranch

Carmel Valley Ranch

Carmel Valley Ranch really can offer you a holiday with a difference. Spread over 500 acres, rediscover your inner child - or play with your own offspring - as you explore this luxurious, natural sanctuary. With tennis, archery, hiking and golf on offer, plus swimming pools and even a vineyard among the expansive gardens, you’ll never be short of relaxing activities to enjoy in Carmel, California.

Socialise - and switch off

From studios for two, or one to four bedded suites, all suites at Carmel Valley Ranch feature a spacious, decked outdoor area in which to relax, socialise and play. Wi-Fi, flat screen TVs, laptop-sized safes, Nespresso machines and mini-fridges mean you have everything you need, while bathrooms with separate shower and bath plus aromatherapy toiletries - containing locally sourced lavender - mean you can slow down, switch off, and soak up that wonderful Californian sunshine. Guests can sit out on their own deck, overlooking miles of glorious countryside while sipping a glass of local wine. Heavenly.

Kitchen, Clubhouse or Poolside

As you might imagine, menus at Carmel Valley Ranch are inspired by local ingredients. Fresh fish is delivered daily, and many of the vegetables and fruits eaten by guests are grown on-site in the organic garden. That’s not all - the ranch keeps its own bees, chickens and goats, and even boasts a salt house. In 2018, local publication Monterey County Weekly voted Valley Kitchen the very ‘Best Restaurant in Carmel Valley’. If you hanker after a freshly cooked burger, opt for The Clubhouse Grill, which also has a daily happy hour. Or for relaxed, poolside dining, River Ranch Cafe serves up pizza and taco specials, smoothies and juices, and even has a dedicated kids’ corner.

Infinite relaxation

Spa Aiyana offers guests the chance to relax, refresh and rejuvenate. Boasting a saltwater pool, eucalyptus steam rooms and an infinity hot pub, it’s just the place to restore the natural balance between mind, body and spirit.
