Loisaba Tented Camp by Elewana

Loisaba Tented Camp by Elewana

Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp has been specifically designed to make the most of uninterrupted views across the Laikipia landscape, with Mount Kenya visible in the distance. Every room offers unbeatable views over a stunning and uniquely African panorama - and the wildlife that inhabits it.

Traditional with a twist

Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp is designed along traditional African lines, offering a stylish and sophisticated environment. Generously sized, custom made tents are airy and bright with full length doors and windows, polished wood flooring and elevated ceilings, while traditional furniture combines African design with contemporary European influences.

Warm and welcoming

The public areas of Loisaba Tented Camp are welcoming, convivial spaces. These include a spacious open-air dining area with a separate bar and lounge, plus a good-sized wooden deck for al fresco dining while enjoying the incomparable views. The camp also features one of Africa’s finest infinity pools.

Conservation at heart

Loisaba Conservancy is a working ranch that has become one of Africa’s conservational successes. The conservancy was obtained by the Nature Conservancy, and also works in harmony alongside the Space For Giants elephant foundation. The area is home to lions, elephants, wild dogs and many other native species, and is a superb example of a successful partnership between community, ranching, conservation and tourism.

Loisaba activities

Guests staying at Elewana Loisaba are offered a whole host of activities to choose from, allowing them to experience all aspects of the local landscape and its flora and fauna. Loisaba owns a fleet of Land Rovers for taking visitors out on safari, while other available activities include mountain biking, guided bush walks, horse-riding, fishing and camel-trekking as well as cultural visits to local villages. You can also see the area’s anti-poaching sniffer dogs, and learn all about their role in the conservation of this very special place.
