Palazzo Seneca

Palazzo Seneca

Palazzo Seneca, the first hotel in Norcia, and now one of the most beautiful monuments in the region, dates from the 16th century, built by a family of skilled wood carvers.

Inside you’ll find a historic stone fireplace topped by the family crest and many objects which tell the story of the region. The harmonious architecture and simplicity and creativity of the design in the charming and elegant suites reflect the Umbrian ethos, as does the cuisine on offer at the Vespasia restaurant. There’s an emphasis on sustainability and reducing waste and ingredients are chosen for freshness. Legumes, cereals and vegetables come from the Vallaccone farm in the Sibillini Mountains National Park and the recipes will enrich your journey into the tradition of Umbria.
