Pretty Beach House

Pretty Beach House

Around 70 miles north of Sydney lies Pretty Beach House, in Bouddi National Park, New South Wales. The hotel is located high above Pretty Beach, affording guests spectacular views over the Bouddi Peninsula.

Pretty Pavilions

Pretty Beach House offers four very private, deluxe pavilions for guests to stay in, plus the central main house, which contains a spacious kitchen and a large, stunning dining room as well as a smaller, more intimate dining area. There is also a huge sandstone feature fireplace, and guest lounge and bar, as well as a wine cellar and a day spa. Outside, there’s a pizza oven and swimming pool. Treetops Pavilion is perched above the main house, while The Retreat has two storeys and is semi-detached. Bayview and The Hideaway are both detached pavilions. All offer expansive living spaces - both inside and out.

Degustation dining

Menus at Pretty Beach House change daily and showcase Italian-influenced food made using local, seasonal produce - some of which comes from the hotel’s own kitchen garden. Expect eggs as you like them, homemade granola and freshly squeezed juices at breakfast, followed by soup, picnic fare, antipasti, pizza or stews according to the season at lunchtime.

For dinner, you can relish ‘Degustation Dinners’, which are served up on the finest crockery and accompanied by specially-selected Australian wines, as chosen by the sommelier. Meals may include anything from creamy risottos to slow cooked meat dishes. Between meals, guests are invited to snack on fresh fruit, handmade bread, cakes and tarts, plus cheeses, olives, chutneys and more.

Bush and bay

There is plenty to do in the Pretty Beach area, should you want to do anything but kick back and relax. The hotel can arrange activities like golf, paddle boarding, tennis, surfing, yoga or kayaking, and you can also take bush walks to see native flora and fauna, or a trip to Maitland Bay.
