Raffles Hotel Le Royal

Raffles Hotel Le Royal

The Raffles name is synonymous with outstanding service, and Raffles Le Royal, Phnom Penh is no exception. Rather, it is a palatial, colonial retreat in the busy Cambodian capital city. A historic landmark of a building, Raffles Le Royal offers classic, stylish rooms and suites, as well as two swimming pools, gorgeous gardens, fine dining and a serene spa.

A Cambodian landmark

From Landmark rooms to Le Royal suite, all accommodation at Raffles Le Royal is luxuriously appointed. Rooms are decorated in classic colonial style, for the ultimate in comfort and opulence. Modern convenience blends with timeless elegance at this sumptuous Raffles property, where you can expect to find solid wood flooring, high ceilings and deluxe marble bathrooms. Some rooms have balconies, from which guests can take in city, pool or garden views. One of the suites is even dedicated to Somerset Maugham, a prolific English writer who stayed at this and other Raffles hotels during the 1930s era.

Le Royal Dining

Cool off during a balmy Asian day at the Poolside Terrace, which offers cocktails, wines and beers alongside light bites or tapas. Apsara Terrace, meanwhile, offers buffet dining in a lush garden setting. You can also dine al fresco on Cafe Monivong’s open-air terrace, which offers buffet-style or a la carte menus. Restaurant Le Royal specialises in Royal Khmer cuisine, and dining here is an experience to please the palate of any true gourmet. Finally, the Elephant Bar is a Cambodian institution, and it’s here that you can sample the signature Raffles afternoon tea.

Le Royal Spa

Raffles spa at Le Royal offers a decadent, secluded hideaway where you can unwind and enjoy luxurious, pampering treatments. From the revistilising Khmer massage to the anti-ageing facial and Le Royal Spa Experience, you’ll emerge feeling utterly refreshed, uplifted and relaxed.
