A floral retreat
Close to Cortana, a particularly beautiful part of Tuscany, Relais La Corte Dei Papi is an imposing country residence built in traditional, honeyed Tuscan stone and surrounded by large gardens festooned with flora. Rooms in the Main House are generously proportioned, ornately decorated and furnished with beautiful antiques, giving the luxurious feel of a bygone era. Spa Suites are all about guests' wellbeing, and have a private spa accommodating two people, as well as a Turkish bath with four multi-sensory showers. Treat yourself to chromotherapy, music therapy and aromatherapy. Offering extra privacy, there are also two romantic deluxe cottages in the lovingly restored granary and stable.
Sights and senses
In the centre of the estate, the arched windows of the elegant mansion look out onto the glamorous swimming pool, surrounded by comfortable sun beds and private cabanas creating an idyllic setting in which to soak up the Tuscan sun. In the atmospheric surroundings of the terracotta, stone-walled restaurant, guests can enjoy a delicious range of artfully presented Tuscan specialities. In warmer weather, dining moves to the outside terraces, where soft lighting and the beauty of the gardens create a memorable ambiance.
