Rosewood Luang Prabang

Rosewood Luang Prabang

A striking colonial-style home near the world heritage site of Luang Prabang, the Rosewood Luang Prabang hotel mixes French and Lao traditional design for a luxurious ambience that will charm you. Its thoughtful organization makes it perfect for travellers looking to get away from it all, those travelling with young children, or couples looking for a romantic getaway. Comprising just 23 rooms including four villas, six poolside dwellings and six luxury tents, this boutique residence is the perfect place from which to base your exploration of northern Laos.

Sumptuous, effortless style

The suites and rooms here at Rosewood Luang Prabang have adopted a cooling neutral palette with luxurious accents of local design. Villas have their own private bar and personal plunge pool to cool off in the sultry summer, whilst luxury hilltop tents are fully equipped with stunning double beds, rain showers and designs inspired by local hill tribes to give more of a sense of the country.

Dining in style

Choose between two in-house eateries during your stay. The Great House offers Laotian flavours. Serving throughout the day, make your way through its menu of sumptuous curries, tasty rice and an impressive wine list. For a true taste of Laotian hospitality, the Elephant Bridge is the place to go. The ornately decorated bar serves a full range of local beers, international wines and classic cocktails.

The perfect place to unwind

The Rosewood spa offers beauty therapies using locally sourced products. Settle down in the spa garden overlooking a sparkling stream and enjoy some ‘lost treatments’; ancient Laotian remedies intended to aid energy levels and to promote healing. For something a little different, head to Rosewood Luang Prabang’s pool which sits next to a waterfall, so you can enjoy the soothing sounds of the cascade as you chill out with a cocktail or a cup of Laotian tea on the sun loungers.
