Sanctuary Yangzi Explorer

Sanctuary Yangzi Explorer

If you want to explore the majestic Yangtze on a cruise quite unlike anything else available, then the Sanctuary Yangzi Explorer could be just what you’re looking for. This deluxe vessel offers the opportunity to take a cruise that is more comfortable and stately than any other. All of the private cabins and suites on board are generously sized, and also boast their own balconies, affording you magnificent views over this majestic river.

Attentive service

The Sanctuary Yangzi Explorer takes cruising in China to a whole new level of luxury. A maximum of 124 passengers can travel at any one time, compared to over 300 on most commercial cruisers. You can also be assured of the most attentive service, thanks to the fact that the crew to passenger ratio is 1:1.

Grand designs

This vessel features 20 suites, 38 deluxe cabins, and four speciality suites. The cabins on board all have full length windows leading to private balconies. These are fully equipped with outdoor lounge furniture. Some connecting cabins are available, and all come with an en-suite bathroom, hairdryer, LCD TV, mini bar and safe. Deluxe cabins are even larger and also have fridges, while suites have an indoor seating area as well as an exclusive range of complimentary amenities including laundry and drinks. The sumptuous speciality suites offer yet more space and luxury, and include extras such as excursions.

Vast range of amenities

As well as an intimate and plush setting and an outstanding level of personal service, the Sanctuary Yangzi Explorer offers a range of onboard amenities. There is a luxurious and spacious spa, a range of fitness facilities, a dedicated observation deck, the chance to savour a la carte dining as well as 24-hour room service and a well-stocked library - plus a theatre. The spa is a particular highlight, as it is the largest and most decadent of its kind. A selection of planned activities and visits are also available, both on board and as site trips.
