Sausage Tree Camp
Located in Lower Zambezi National Park, Zambia, Sausage Tree Camp is a gorgeous safari lodge, offering the best that this stunning area has to offer. Ultra-deluxe camping
A maximum of 18 guests are resident at Sausage Tree Camp at any one time, so a uniquely peaceful, remote atmosphere is yours to savour. Right in the heart of the African bush, the camp even has a large pool, set right on the banks of the majestic Zambezi river. Accommodation comprises of deluxe safari tents, each spaced all apart from the others to allow maximum privacy and serenity - and affording the local elephants enough space to wander freely in between. Centrally, there is a bar and dining area, featuring a vast teak deck on which to sip a cocktail, as you observe river and savannah life.
Sausage safari
Sausage Tree Camp specialises in offering some of the very finest safari experiences available. Being so close to the Zambezi river and situated within Lower Zambezi National Park means that wildlife viewing can take place via game drives, boat or canoe trips, or even on foot during a walking safari. Morning and evening drives are led by experienced, expert rangers who will do their utmost to ensure you spot some breathtaking wildlife in its natural habitat. You may see lions, leopards, hippos, crocodiles and many more during your stay - including colourful and exotic birdlife.
Tigerfishing
With the Zambezi river so close by, fishing is another pastime you may wish to partake of during your time at Sausage Tree Camp. Tackle or fly fishing are available, and you can expect to catch a tigerfish or two - especially during the breeding season September to December
