Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney

Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney

The Shangri-La Sydney is not only positioned in one of the world’s most photogenic and charming cities - it is also located right by iconic Sydney Harbour. Watch sailing boats pass by, marvel at the splendour of Sydney Opera House or the sheer size of the Harbour Bridge.

On the horizon

Offering a range of rooms, Horizon Club rooms and suites, the Shangri-La hotel in Sydney has plenty for guests to choose from. With at least 40 square metres of space, even entry-level rooms afford stupendous views over Darling Harbour, with flat screen TVs, Wi-Fi, luxurious linens and toiletries and marble bathrooms ensuring optimal levels of comfort. From some rooms on the higher floors of the hotel, the Blue Mountains can even be seen in the distance, while booking a Harbour or Opera House view room guarantees the best views over Sydney’s glittering harbour and gleaming, most iconic building.

Dining at altitude

Dining at the Shangri-La Sydney is sure to please even those with the pickiest of palates. Cafe Mix offers all-day, buffet style dining, including the infamous chocolate fountain and designated dessert station for those with a sweet tooth. Altitude Restaurant, as its name suggests, offers spectacular views over Sydney Harbour - and of course a very high standard of food to match. The Lobby Lounge offers tapas-style dishes for relaxed dining, as well as a sumptuous high tea - and there’s even a chocolate high tea option. It’s a great place to enjoy sweeping harbour views as you relax with glass of Australian wine, too. Blu Bar on 36 is Sydney’s go-to cocktail bar, where expert mixologists can whip you up something to sip as you take in the incredible views.
