Sol y Luna

Sol y Luna

Situated in the highlands of the breathtaking Valley of the Incas in Urubamba, Peru, the Sol y Luna offers a truly refreshing escape to its guests. Comprising 43 casita houses, boasting the very best in Peruvian cuisine and with a significant focus on health and wellbeing, you are sure to leave this hotel feeling revitalised.

Naturalistic living

Each of the 43 casita houses at Sol y Luna is constructed from natural stone and wooden beams, integrating seamlessly into the surrounding landscape and decorated in a truly individualistic style. Each is set in its own beautiful garden and constitutes a private, circular haven for its occupants. You will benefit from spectacular views of the Andes Mountains as well as luxuries, including marble tiled bathrooms, sumptuous bathrobes and your own private terrace. For added indulgences like underfloor heating, wood-burning fireplaces and private jacuzzis, opt for the Premium Casita.

Gastronomical wonders

The attractively-curved Killa Wasi serves up a mouth-watering buffet breakfast and vegan lunch in a relaxed, friendly environment. In the evenings, the restaurant takes on a more sophisticated and elegant ambiance, treating its guests to a range of contemporary Peruvian cuisine featuring seasonal, local produce. In Wayra, guests enjoy similarly superb dishes flavoured with Andean ingredients whilst viewing the astonishing acrobatics of the hotel’s circus performers.

In touch with nature

There is nowhere better to connect with nature than in the Sacred Valley of Peru. Spend unforgettable days exploring the Andes Mountain Range by horseback or quad bike, hike some of the glorious trails on foot or kayak in the shadow of the mountains. For something a little more adventurous, why not try paragliding and take in the awe-inspiring scenery from above?

Allow yourself to be pampered in Sol y Luna’s wonderful spa, making the most of the herbal steam room and sauna, before taking a dip in the swimming pool surrounded by majestic mountain peaks.
