Tanah Gajah, a Resort by Hadiprana

Tanah Gajah, a Resort by Hadiprana

Tucked away in the Balinese highlands, among the rice paddies and close to central Ubud - an artist’s enclave - is Tanah Gajah, a Resort by Hadiprana. Offering an oasis of serenity, Tanah Gajah combines rustic simplicity with modern luxury to create the idyllic holiday destination of your dreams.

Artistic villas

All 20 unique villas are seated on Tanah Gajah’s five-hectare site, each decorated with original, Balinese works of art. The resort is surrounded by mile upon mile of fertile rice terraces, a perfect spot from which to witness Bali’s breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. From one bedroom suites with a view of a lotus pond, to family villas with their own private pool and outdoor terrazzo bath, the accommodation is designed to allow you to spread out and enjoy every precious moment of your holiday. All modern amenities are supplied, such as Wi-Fi, flat screen TV, iPod docks and Bose sound systems.

A restaurant with a view

A gracious, gastronomic experience is the aim of the game when dining at Tanah Gajah Restaurant. Sweeping views over the rice paddies and lush jungle are yours to enjoy from your table, as you savour both local specialities and Western favourites. Produce is locally sourced where possible, so that the rice fields you can see from the table may well be those in which your rice was grown.

An Indonesian spa

A luxuriant day at the spa is a must when holidaying in Bali. The island has a rich tradition of holistic treatments and massage, and you can benefit from the experience of our skilled therapists as you unwind inside one of the two spa suites, which overlook the rice paddies. The Indonesian cream bath is a signature treatments, and the resort also boasts a 25-metre swimming pool and yoga studio. Namaste.
