The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur

The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur

An icon of colonial architecture, the Hotel Majestic, Kuala Lumpur is a stylish property in which to base yourself on a visit to this exciting cultural melting pot of a city. A fabulous stopover or short break destination, Kuala Lumpur offers fabulous food, fascinating history, varied shopping and an eclectic mix of building styles. Stay at one of the city’s very finest examples - the Majestic Hotel.

A Majestic Tower

Accommodation at The Majestic is split between the Majestic Wing and the Tower Wing. The Majestic Wing is the original hotel building, exuding old-world style and art deco influences. Inside, rooms and suites are elegantly appointed, combining art deco touches with classic colonial styling. A range of suites and rooms on the Tower Wing, meanwhile, combine more modern, sleek, sumptuous decor with subtle echoes of the colonial and art deco eras.

Flavours to savour

Delicious, exotic and sometimes spicy food is always a highlight of visiting Kuala Lumpur, and the Majestic KL offers plenty of palate-pleasing options. Eat flavourful, authentic dishes at The Colonial Cafe, where crisp white table linen, padded leather chairs and a piano add to the timeless appeal. A delightful afternoon tea is served in The Tea Lounge, the theme being classic English with a Malaysian twist.

For something really special, book the private dining room in The Smoke House, and have our expert chefs create the ideal menu just for you. Alternatively, Contango offers something a little different, with options ranging from grills and pizza to Chinese, Thai, Japanese - and, of course, Malay. Afterwards, why not retire to the bar for a nightcap?

The Majestic Spa

The spa is styled, perhaps surprisingly, with more than a nod to famed Scottish architect, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, the design being based on that of Glasgow’s Willow Tearooms. Enjoy a signature spa experience such as the English afternoon tea, in this refreshingly different setting.
