When to travel
Chile’s unique geography spanning a huge range of climates means travel is possible at all times of the year. However, hotels and lodges in Patagonia generally close during the winter months, from around June to September, meaning that the summer months of November to April are generally the best time to visit.
How to get there
British Airways launches the only direct flight to Santiago from London Heathrow. The longest flight the airline operates at nearly 15 hours, flights are 4 times a week during high season from November to April.
